Cut potatoes into four pieces and cook them till 3 whistles,later peel off and set a side
In a pan add oil and add seasoning and let them splatter
Now add green chillies and peeled potatoes and saute for 2 min, add salt and cook for 5-6min
Now mash potatoes with potato masher and saute for 2min and add finely chopped coriander
Meanwhile take a bowl and add senagapindi,salt,red chilly powder,vaamu,baking soda and mix with water and adjust consistency
Set aside for 15min till then make round balls of potato mixture, now set a kadai with oil for deep frying
dip the potato mixtue in batter and drop them in hot oil for deep frying till they turn golden brown
This should be served hot with tomato chutney
